LOCALfest25 – News

LOCALfest 25 was paused in October 2025 to allow more time to build the best relationships to ensure the Vision could be realised and have the best possible impact for locals and visitors.
Curated Conversations are at the core of LOCALfest and the basis for bringing community experience from elsewhere to the host community to help them shape their thinking on a specific topic.
The first LOCALfest Curated Conversation is now scheduled to take place on 11 February 2026.  The Trust House Museum Trust in Dunkeld is exploring development plans, given the very limited space they have to tell their story. They will be joined by representatives from Trimontium Museum, Gairloch Museum, Glenesk Museum, Abernethy Museum and SCOTO to spend the day sharing their experiences and lessons learned to support Dunkeld on their journey.
